Turn ABP on/off manually

When you turn Adblock Plus off on desktop, it remains off on that site/page for 7 days. If you visit the site/page again in those 7 days, ABP renews the pause for another 7 days. If you don’t return to the site/page within 7 days, it is removed from your allowlist.

To resume blocking ads on that site/page sooner, just toggle ABP back on.

1. Click on the Adblock Plus icon on the browser toolbar. What if I don't see the Adblock Plus icon?

2. Click on a toggle to turn ABP on or off. The top toggle applies to the whole website. The bottom toggle applies only to the specific page you are visiting.

3. After toggling the option on or off, click Refresh for the changes to take effect.

You can also turn off Adblock Plus for certain websites and/or support content creators by manually allowlisting the website.

From the Adblock Plus app

1. Open up the Adblock Plus app on your iOS device.

2. Tap Safari Blocking.

3. Tap to toggle Block Ads on or off.

From Safari

1. Next to the URL, tap the Page icon (rectangle or puzzle piece with two lines underneath).

2. Tap Manage Extensions.

3. Toggle Adblock Plus on or off. 

You can also turn off Adblock Plus for certain websites and/or support content creators by allowlisting the website.

1. Click on the Adblock Plus extension icon on the left of the browser’s toolbar. What if I don't see the Adblock Plus icon?

2. Clear the check box to turn off Adblock Plus for the entire website you are currently on. The page will automatically refresh for the change to take effect.

3. To turn Adblock Plus on again, select the check box.

You can also turn off Adblock Plus for certain websites and/or support content creators by allowlisting the website.

1. Open Samsung Browser.

2. Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the bottom right corner of the screen.

3. Tap Ad blockers.

4. Under Installed, locate ABP for Samsung Browser and tap the toggle to turn it on or off.
