The "turn off your ad blocker" notifications you see when you visit certain websites is something displayed by the site you are visiting when they detect you have any ad blocking-type software installed on your browser or computer.
When you encounter these notices, you'll need to pause Adblock Plus to access the page: Turn ABP on/off manually. When paused, the ABP will appear grayed out on your browser toolbar:

If you have paused Adblock Plus, allowlisted the website or if Adblock Plus isn't even installed, and the icon is grayed out, but you're still seeing a "turn off your ad blocker" notification, then it's likely another extension or other software you have installed that the website is detecting.
Here's how to check:
-
Disable all your other extensions in the browser you are using:
-
If you're using Chrome, Edge, or Opera, type about:extensions in the address bar. Toggle each extension in the list OFF.
-
If you're using Firefox, type about:addons in the address bar. Toggle each extension in the list OFF.
-
If you're using Safari, go to Safari > Settings... > Extensions. Deselect all other extensions in the list.
-
-
Next, refresh the webpage for the site where you want to see ads.
If you don't have any active extensions and still don't see ads appear, it's likely not ABP creating the issue, but we'd still be happy to take a look at your situation: Submit a ticket. Please include the following with your submission:
-
A screenshot of the page where you are seeing the issue. Be sure to include the URL/address bar and the full browser toolbar in your shot. Here are instructions for how to take a screenshot if you need them: How to capture a screenshot.
-
If you have ABP installed, please include a copy of your debug information: Send your debug data
Note: We don't recommend using multiple ad blockers (including our own). They can slow down your browser, create issues when you allow ads, and typically don't provide any additional significant ad blocking.
